Recreation Ground & Castle Mound
The recreation ground is a short walk from Acer Cottage and has much to offer. The historic Castle Mound has steps leading to it's summit where you can sit on a bench and look out over glorious views of Bampton and the Exe Valley. There is a newly built climbing play area that any kid will be happy to put their phone down to climb. There is a seating area for picnics and a football pitch with goals for a kick about.
