Acer Cottage is centrally located in Bampton and is literally a stone's throw away from shops, pubs and restaurants, which make it perfect for those days when you would rather not drive or when you return from a day exploring Exmoor or the Devon coast.
Acer Cottage sleeps a maximum of six people and has two bedrooms, one of which is a double and the other bedroom has two singles. A double sofa bed in the living room is also available for use. Acer cottage also has a well equipped kitchen, a shower room , a small outdoor seating space with a BBQ and it's own private off road parking space.

No Acer Cottage is supplied with it's own bedding and towels, although you can bring your own if you like.
I'm afraid not. All Bedrooms are up a staircase on the first floor.

No, there is no minimum stay at Acer Cottage, but shorter stays cost more to cover overheads.
Bampton has a wide range of shops, eateries and pubs all within a short walk of Acer Cottage. If you want to have a day off driving, then why not go on one of the many circular countryside walks, making sure of course to start and end from one of the pubs.
Acer Cottage can be reached by exiting the M5 at junction 27 Tiverton and then following signs for Bampton. When in Bampton, opposite the Spar shop, drive into Courtyard Mews and at the end you will see a marked parking space for Acer Cottage.

Bampton is a town rich in history. The Romans had a fort nearby and Bampton is mentioned in Domesday Book and a castle mound still remains . Burnt to the ground by Royalists during the Civil War it grew rich by the wool trade where sheep were sold at the famous Bampton Fair. Quarried for it's stone since ancient times, the railway shipped out the stone around the country. The Station was closed in 1963, but the platform is still there buried under the Station Road carpark. For more on Bampton's history click below.
